Hi, I have started of late to do more Landscape scenes, the Autumn/Winter seems a good place to Start. Although the Hampshire coast is only 30-40miles away I Struggle at the moment to find good venues, so Lepe beach seems a good place to start. I will include other areas as and when. Along with updates to my Blogs, I will also continue with my birding.
As you may be aware from previous BLOGS I am gradually moving over to Olympus from Canon mainly because of the size and weight, each manufacturer has its own good points as well as bad. I recently traded in some Canon gear for Olympus to enable my landscape to evolve. Not always easy, I purchased both the 7-14 pro and 12-100 pro and another Em1 mk2. my previous filters fitted the 12-100 no problem, but the 7-14 is another story. I searched the forums and utube to discover the 7-14 lens is unable to support screw in filters and a special adapter is required, therefore involving a new system. If one uses any of the 100mm size filter systems the 7-14 vignettes at the 7 or 8mm end of the focal length, therefore it involves using the 150mm size filters so its very large and expensive on a micro four thirds lens. As I become accustomed to the system I will enlarge on my experiences.
